At Holm Studios, we design homes that can hold a whole life.

Every project starts with listening. How you move through a room. What you want to happen in it. What you're building across all your properties, and what you want left standing. Then we shape that into something you wouldn't have arrived at on your own.

We care about the things people feel and rarely name. The weight of a door handle. A room that gets the light exactly right. Our work has been published in Wallpaper*, which we're glad about, though it was never the point.

We handle the whole thing: architecture, interior architecture, interiors, and the unglamorous systems underneath that let a complicated house feel simple. Most clients come to us for the way we work as much as for what we make, and for a house that still makes sense in thirty years.

Getting that right takes more than technical skill. It takes what we call raw elegance: authentic, unpretentious, quietly good. Our work sits where real luxury meets a house you can actually live in. Call it hi-lo. A place should be extraordinary and still somewhere you'd walk around barefoot with a coffee.

That comes from dreamwork, our shorthand for being collectively obsessed with spaces that break the pattern and respect what came before them.

We have the hard conversations early, keep your business to ourselves, and try to make the process something you'd actually want to do again.

We design one house and think about all of them. A primary estate, a compound for family and guests, a retreat built for privacy. Same discipline either way, from 4,000 square feet to 55,000 and up.

Our builders, artisans, curators and consultants are people we've worked with for years. We put a team together for each project. Nothing off the shelf.
